No Vacancy or Internet in the Yukon

We arrived in Whitehorse last night only to discover the Canadian Workman Compensation Board is in town for its annual convention. We were able to get a room but all Internet and cell phone service has been down since Thursday. The connection through our portable WiFi device is slow and I can't upload photos. Will try again when we reach ciivlization, which might be today. There ae no rooms available  where we're headed, Tok, AK. We will either be sleeping in the car tonight or driving nearly 700 miles to reach Anchorage. Let the fun begin!
